Every spring and fall I find myself engulfed in the process of going through everything I own and ideally trying to minimize down to 100 items. This pursuit of downsizing, down to 100 items, has made me realize what items are truly important to me and how little we as humans actually need. However, I have yet to get myself down to 100 items. I would still like to but am not in any necessary rush to do so. The drive for this has set me up to create a set of rules surrounding myself as well as putting a copy of my list of items out there to hold me accountable.
Rule #1. If I am to purchase anything new that I want, 3 items must be removed
Rule #2. Is an exception to Rule #1, if I am replacing an item on the list due to irreparable issues, I do not have to remove 3 items.
